The Ramakrishna order is at present aiming in the awakening of the Soul and upliftment of the Spirit, of Serving God in Man. To achieve this Vision “EDUCATION TO MANKIND” is of utmost importance as only a proper and well structured education cultures a human brain with clean thoughts and deeds. With this vision, the Asram has ventured in imparting education to the blind people thereby making them feel confident and also bringing out from them their talents and showcase the same to the Society, thereby uplifting their livelihood
The Asram has its roots in Swamiji’s beliefs and ideology. The immortal Swami Vivekananda was a man who shared the experiences of life with common people, entered into their joys and sorrows, rejoiced with them but never forgot who he was.
The Asram believes that the miseries of the world cannot be cured by physical help alone. The only solution is to make mankind pure, by lifting him from the depths of ignorance.
The Ramakrishna order is at present animating all humanity to an awakening of the soul and upliftment of the spirit, of Serving God in Man.
The message “Worship Shiva in Man” as by Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa Dev and the Holy Mother Sri Sri Maa Saradadevi was practiced by Swami Vivekananda.
He wanted us to do so for “Atmano Mokshartham Jagathitaya Cha”.
This belief fuelled the initiation of Vivekananda Mission Asram by a group of selfless monks and has grown into a temple of learning, distinctive culture and support for underprivileged in the areas of education, health, training, rehabilitation and spirituality
